The Alliance’s activities are organized into 4 main areas:

1. Setting up and capacity-building of an international and intercultural network of independent publishers: website in 3 languages, coordinators of linguistic networks, research and resource center, etc.
   
   
2. Organization of international linguistic, regional or general meetings.
   
   
3. Support for solidarity co-publishing and for translations
   
   
4. Advocacy actions in favor of independent publishing and bibliodiversity
