The International Alliance of Independent Publishers maintains with its principal partner much more than financial relations while taking an active part in the installation of a new generation of networks (the Alliances of Citzens), based on the will of action of their members, and functioning in the largest respect of the identity and the investment capacity of each one. The Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation works mainly on Governance and Sustainable development. In addition, it produces innovative collaborative tools for international networks. www.fph.ch
The Prince Claus Fund
Culture is a Basic Need:
The Prince Claus Fund actively seeks international cultural collaborations with partners of excellence in spaces of need. The Prince Claus Fund provides immediate cultural rescue as well as support to sustainable cultural processes. It takes initiatives to raise awareness on the importance of culture in everyday life and for development. The Fund works in the spirit of Prince Claus’ belief that one cannot develop people, but people develop themselves. The Prince Claus Fund is based in Amsterdam and is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch Postcode Lottery.
Network Partnerships Programme:
The core of the Network Partnerships Programme of the Prince Claus Fund is an open, mutually beneficial exchange based on respect and trust. Each year the Fund invites two cultural organisations with their own established networks in their regions to become Network Partners for a three-year period. The partners and the Fund build a strong relationship, sharing the experience of their different networks, giving advice, inspiration and support, and working together on innovative cultural activities.
Conseil Régional d’Île-de-France
The Alliance cordially thanks the Conseil Régional d’Île-de-France for the support brought to the realization and the reinforcement of its activities.

Organisation internationale de la Francophonie
L’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie soutient depuis plusieurs années des projets de l’Alliance.
Latin Union
The Latin Union is an international organization founded on 1954 by the Agreement of Madrid to promote and to spread the cultural inheritance and the identities of the Latin world.
UNESCO
Visit web pages Book and reading of UNESCO, a active partner in line with the principles of the Alliance of Independent Publishers. We recommend particularly the Literature and translation section (UNESCO center of exchange and information on the literary translation).
Radio France Internationale
The International Alliance of Independent Publishers has established a first partnership with RFI in 2005, for the promotion of L’Ombre d’Imana (The Shadow of Imana) by Véronique TADJO. In 2008, RFI gave support to two new co-publishing projects, De l’autre côté du regard (As Seen From the Other Side) by Ken BUGUL and Sozaboy by Ken SARO-WIWA, both published in the collection “Terres solidaires”.
Ford foundation
The Ford foundation supported over two years the installation of the activities of the Alliance of independent publishers.

Bibliothèques sans Frontières
Bibliothèques Sans Frontières est une Organisation Non Gouvernementale qui vise à faciliter l’accès au savoir dans les pays en développement par le soutien aux bibliothèques, la formation des acteurs de la chaîne du livre et la structuration des réseaux de bibliothèques.
COREDEM
L’Alliance internationale des éditeurs indépendants est membre de la Coredem. (voir www.coredem.info), la Confédération de sites ressources pour une démocratie mondiale qui rassemble des partenaires autour d´une charte, d’un moteur de recherche et d’un wiki.
Initiative internationale pour repenser l’économie
L’Alliance internationale des éditeurs indépendants a organisé la coédition solidaire francophone de l’ouvrage Essai sur l’œconomie de Pierre Calame, en partenariat avec l’Initiative internationale pour repenser l’économie (IRE) - un lieu de dialogue, de débat et de réflexion visant à favoriser l’émergence de nouvelles propositions dans le domaine économique.
L’Institut de recherche et débat sur la gouvernance
Dans le cadre d’un projet piloté par l’Institut de recherche et débat sur la gouvernance (IRG), l’Alliance internationale des éditeurs indépendants a appuyé la réalisation d’une coédition solidaire latino-américaine réalisée à partir d’une publication en espagnol de l’ouvrage de Pierre Calame, La Démocratie en miettes. L’Alliance et l’IRG travaillent ainsi ponctuellement sur des projets éditoriaux, regroupant leurs moyens pour diffuser mieux les réflexions liées à la gouvernance.
La Méridienne du Griot blanc
On May 31, 2009, Marc Roger, public reader, set out on the 5000 km walk of an imaginary Meridian stretching from Saint-Malo (France) to Bamako (Mali), in order to read aloud, along his way and across five countries, novels, poetry and short stories by French and foreign authors.

Double ponctuation
Double Ponctuation assure la conduite d’études et le suivi de projets, la conception et l’édition de contenus, l’appui à la gestion et à l’organisation. Dirigée par Étienne Galliand, Double ponctuation prend en charge pour l’Alliance la mise en œuvre d’opérations relevant du pôle « Recherche et analyses », ainsi que le suivi du réseau anglophone. L’Alliance et Double ponctuation conduisent par ailleurs en partenariat certains projets – comme par exemple la revue Bibliodiversité(s).
